Ever wondered what my favorite location for photo sessions is?
It's in your home! Where everyone feels most comfortable and can truly just be themselves.
Whether you just missed the newborn cut off window, or you have teenagers who refuse to smile at the studio, you can never go wrong with an in-home session. They are perfect for everyone!
But are they really? Well, like the English language. There is always an exception. You HAVE to have a window. That's it. As long as you have some sort of natural light coming in from a window, that's all I need.
We don't need to shoot in every corner of your house, and it's okay if your home is lived in, and has toys everywhere. These photos capture your family as they are, in that moment, and I can almost guarantee we will find a space to put you in that doesn't look messy. TRUST ME!
Fun Fact: Serafina's crib was passed down from her great grandmother. Can you imagine?! All the women in her family have used the same wooden crib for decades, and I had the privilege of photographing such a beautiful and meaningful piece. What an honor!
