A sweet in-home newborn session


There’s something uniquely special about in-home newborn sessions — the comfort, the realness, and the way a family just is in their own space. But when you add a toddler stepping into his new role as big brother, the magic multiplies — and in Jojo’s case, so does the energy!

This session was all about welcoming baby Marli Rose into the world, but it was also about honoring Jojo’s new role — and letting him shine in his own, very toddler way. Spoiler alert: The Hulk made multiple appearances, and honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Toddlers Run the Show (and That’s the Point)

If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a lifestyle photographer, it’s this: toddlers are in charge. And instead of working against that energy, we lean in. Because capturing them in their true element — whether they’re snuggling baby sister, sprinting through the living room, or proudly showing off their superhero moves — that’s the memory that matters.

Jojo brought his full self to this session: full of life, curiosity, and love (with just the right amount of chaos). He peeked in on Marli, offered kisses in between jumps, and made sure The Hulk got his close-up, too. It was real, it was sweet, and it was them.

Baby Marli Rose, So Loved Already

In the quieter moments, baby Marli was a dream — tiny, peaceful, and already so loved.
