Every session with this sweet family is a special one, but this twin birthday shoot at Chillhouse Studios was truly a full-circle moment. From maternity to newborn, to their first birthday, and now two years old, I’ve had the absolute joy of documenting every milestone for these adorable twins.
As any photographer (or parent!) knows, toddler photo sessions can start off a little… unpredictable. And this one was no exception. We kicked things off with a few tears, some hesitation, and a much-needed snack break. But with a little patience and a lot of love, those authentic smiles finally broke through, and once they did, we got the shots.
What made this session extra special wasn’t just the bearss or the birthday tutus, it was the bond between these twins and the connection they’ve built over the last two years. Watching them grow from tiny newborns into curious, expressive toddlers has been one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
Chillhouse Studios provided the perfect cozy, minimal backdrop for this milestone. With its natural light and playful curtains, the space let the twins shine without distractions. We played, laughed, and captured the kind of candid moments that tell a story far beyond posed portraits.
These are the images that parents look back on and say, “That’s so them.” The silly faces, the snuggles, the chaos of being two, it’s all part of the magic.
