There’s nothing more special than getting to witness and document a woman’s journey into motherhood—and this session might go down as one of the most meaningful ones I’ve ever photographed.
Nicole and I go way back. I first met her for her femme bridal boudoir session, where she absolutely glowed with confidence and excitement before saying “I do.” From there, I had the honor of capturing her maternity photos—a time that was tender and emotional for us both, as I had just entered the postpartum stage myself. Then came her Fresh 48 session, where I met her sweet baby for the very first time just days after birth.
And now? We’ve come full circle with the most precious newborn session inside our natural light studio, Chillhouse Miami Studios.
A Natural Light Newborn Session Full of Warmth and Whimsy
Our studio is made for moments like this. With soft natural light streaming in, a calm and cozy atmosphere, and minimal distractions, Chillhouse Miami Studios provided the perfect setting for this timeless newborn shoot.
Nicole’s love for her daughter shines in every frame. You can see the way she has grown into motherhood—so gentle, so full of joy. Watching her hold her baby girl with such ease and tenderness reminded me why I do what I do.
A Sweet Nod to Winnie the Pooh
Now, if you know Nicole, you know she’s obsessed with Winnie the Pooh. So even though I hesitated a little (those character outfits can go either way), I have to admit—her baby girl looked adorable in that tiny Pooh onesie. It brought a playful, personal touch to the session that made it all the more special.
We kept the styling simple overall—letting the connection, light, and love lead the way. Think: simple, classic, timeless and lots of close cuddles. The result? A modern, soft, and emotional newborn gallery that Nicole will cherish forever.
