Celebrating Brittney’s Maternity and Newborn Journey


There is something so special about being invited to document more than one chapter of a family’s story. With our A Little Story Collection, we had the joy of working with Brittney during her maternity session and then welcoming her back with her beautiful baby for their newborn session. From celebrating the anticipation of motherhood to capturing those sweet, quiet newborn moments, it was an honor to document this special season for her family. Watching Brittney step into motherhood was beautiful, and we are so proud of the amazing mama she is.

Women are truly powerful. Our bodies grow and nurture life, and through all the changes, emotions, and unknowns, we continue to show up with so much love and strength. There is something incredibly beautiful about witnessing a woman embrace this season and the transformation that comes with becoming a mother.


That strength and beauty are exactly what we love about these timeless black-and-white maternity photographs. Without the distraction of color, the emotion, connection, and anticipation of this season take center stage. These images capture Brittney in such a powerful and graceful moment—celebrating the woman she is while waiting to meet the little one who would soon change her world. And then, just like that, her baby was here.

From the tiny details and peaceful newborn moments to the sweet connection between Brittney, her husband, and their beautiful baby, these photographs capture the beginning of a beautiful new chapter. The anticipation we celebrated during her maternity session had now become the love they held in their arms.

Being able to document both Brittney’s maternity and newborn journey made this story even more meaningful. We loved watching her step into motherhood and seeing the beautiful family they have become.

It was an honor to capture these special moments and preserve this little piece of their story. We hope these photographs always bring them back to the love, joy, and beauty of this unforgettable season.
