Every Pregnancy Deserves to Be Celebrated
There are so many milestones in motherhood, and every single one deserves to be remembered. While many families choose to document their first pregnancy, it's not uncommon to wonder if another maternity session is really necessary for baby number two. My answer is always the same....absolutely.
Every pregnancy tells a different story. Every baby brings a new chapter. And every growing family deserves to celebrate the journey they're on.
A few years ago, I had the honor of photographing this sweet couple as they eagerly awaited their first baby together. Their maternity session took place on the beach, capturing all the excitement and anticipation of becoming parents.
This time, their story looked beautifully different. Instead of just the two of them, they arrived as a growing family. Dad stood proudly beside Mom, while both big sisters joined in to celebrate the newest little one who would soon complete their family. Watching the girls love on Mom's growing belly and share in the excitement of welcoming their baby sibling made this session incredibly special.
It's one of my favorite reminders that every pregnancy marks the beginning of a new chapter and not just for Mom and Dad, but for the entire family.

Seeing everyone come together to celebrate this baby was a beautiful reminder that every pregnancy adds another layer to your family's story and every chapter deserves to be documented.
Watching This Family Grow Has Been Such a Joy
One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is that I don't always get to photograph just one chapter. I get to watch families grow over the years. Seeing familiar faces walk back into my studio is something I'll never take for granted.
When I photographed their first maternity session, it was just the two of them soaking in every moment before becoming parents. This time, they walked in with two excited big sisters, so much more laughter, and another little one on the way. It was different in all the best ways.
Looking through these images makes me smile because they tell a story that's still being written. It's a reminder that every pregnancy, every season, and every new chapter brings something worth remembering. I feel incredibly lucky that I get to be a small part of preserving those memories for families like theirs.
