A Branding session that brought her business to life
In today’s digital world, the first impression often happens online — sometimes even before you meet a client. That’s why headshots and branding images are so important for business owners. They give people a sense of who you are, what you do, and the personality behind your brand.
Recently, we had the joy of photographing Aitza, a CPA and money coach. Her session was more than just headshots — it was a full branding experience that perfectly reflected her expertise and vibrant personality.
When we had our first consultation call I knew we were going to have a great time with these. We went over the plan for the photos- we don't just want a bunch of pretty headshots. Everything needs a plan, everything done with intention. We planned her outfits and props and visualized how she would be using these for the entire year. I was beyond excited to welcome her into our studio.
The day started with professional hair and makeup, setting the tone for a session full of confidence and fun ( and YES! our hair and makeup artist is trained to work with your natural curls too!!). Between poses, we had a Q&A conversation with Aitza, learning about her journey, her passion for finances, and how she helps clients feel empowered with their money. The Power of branding photos
Branding photography isn’t just about looking professional — it’s about showing personality, connecting with clients, and telling your story visually. For Aitza, this meant capturing images that highlight both her financial expertise and her approachable, relatable side.
How Often Should Business Owners Update Headshots?
Even if your business hasn’t changed, your photos should reflect your current self and brand. Many professionals refresh their headshots every 1–2 years, or sooner if:
Your appearance changes
You’ve updated your branding
You’re launching new services
You need fresh images for social media or your website
Keeping your images current ensures they continue to reflect the person and professional you are today.
A Session to remember
What made Aitza’s session so special was her energy, passion, and authenticity. Capturing those moments — the laughter, the confident expressions, the relaxed yet professional vibes — is what makes a branding session feel truly alive.
By the end of the day, we had a collection of images that captured her personality and professional story. Working with someone as knowledgeable, fun, and approachable as Aitza was inspiring — and a reminder that the best branding images come from moments that feel natural and real.
To me, that’s what branding sessions are really about — creating space for someone to show up as themselves while capturing the heart of the work they love to do. Aitza brought such a wonderful presence to the day, and it was a joy getting to know her while documenting this moment in her business journey. These images will not only represent her brand today, but also serve as a reflection of the passion and purpose she brings to helping others feel confident with their finances. Thank you for bringing all the energy! I cannot wait for the next one.
If you are a business woman considering a headshot and branding session for yourself, I would be absolutely honored to help tell your story!
