Dad wasn’t really interested in being in photos, and that’s okay. Fresh 48 sessions are about honoring what feels right for your family in that moment—no pressure, no expectations. With four older siblings in the mix, the focus naturally shifted to the love surrounding mom and baby, the quiet pride, and the sweet chaos that comes with a party of seven.
And let me tell you—this family did not lack love or chaos LOL. I was so excited for such a big group of kiddos, but in al honesty, I could sense the over stimulation in the room, so I sent dad for a little walk with the kiddos. I was able to give mom a moment to breathe, to take it all in, just her, and her newest little blessing. I love that I can sense what everyone needs, and I love that I can make it happen for my mamas. Whether its a quiet break, or a piece of chocolate cake, I got you covered, mama!
Five Babies, One Incredible Mama
Watching this mama with her newborn was powerful. There’s a calm confidence that comes with experience, but also a deep emotion knowing this is the last baby she’ll hold in those first moments. Every snuggle, every kiss, every look felt intentional—like she was soaking in every second just a little longer.
And standing nearby was grandma, beaming with pride. Seeing her daughter step into motherhood for the fifth time, strong and sure, was one of those moments that reminds me why documenting these early hours matters so much.
