If you know me, you know just how much I love Christmas. It's more than just a holiday—it's a feeling. Christmas has always been my favorite season to photograph because there is a kind of magic that simply can't be recreated any other time of year. Families slow down, children are filled with wonder, and the simplest moments become cherished memories that last a lifetime.

What many families may not realize is that Christmas magic at The Loving Lens begins long before December arrives. The moment my final Santa and Christmas sessions wrap up, I'm already dreaming about the next holiday season. I begin gathering inspiration, planning new experiences, and thinking through every little detail that will make each family's visit feel magical from the moment they walk through the studio doors.

A tradition i treasure every year
One of my favorite parts of Christmas isn't just creating beautiful portraits—it's welcoming back so many familiar faces. There is something incredibly special about seeing my Loving Lens families return year after year. Watching your babies grow into toddlers, seeing little personalities blossom, and catching up on all of life's milestones is one of the greatest gifts this job has given me.
This year, I can't wait to make even more magical memories together! Santa will be back, ready to welcome every child with open arms, and we'll be adding a fun new tradition by making reindeer food together to take home for Christmas Eve.
